To further optimize the visitor experience and upgrade supporting facilities, the parking lot and station at Leidongping in the high-altitude area of Mount Emei will undergo closed construction, while the golden summit cableway will also receive comprehensive upgrades. During construction, the capacity of high-altitude sightseeing buses and the golden summit cableway will be reduced. All related projects are expected to be completed by 2027, when full normal operations will resume.During the construction period, the attraction remains open to the public, with only the golden summit area implementing visitor flow control: from May 23, 2026, a daily limit of 8,000 admission tickets will be issued for the golden summit area. Round-trip sightseeing bus tickets to Leidongping (golden summit) will also be sold in limited quantities, with timed entry reservations continuing to be enforced.The waiting and boarding functions of the former Leidongping station will be relocated to a temporary area (subject to on-site arrangements). The original station building will no longer provide overnight stays or rest services. The attraction will also dynamically adjust shuttle bus departure and return times based on real-time passenger flow.We kindly remind everyone to stay updated with the official notices from the attraction, plan your itinerary in advance, and book relevant tickets early while allowing reasonable waiting time. Additionally, the attraction will soon launch exclusive admission tickets for the mid-mountain area, including Qingyin Pavilion and Wannian Temple. To enhance the visiting experience at Mount Emei's golden summit attraction, the reservation information for sightseeing bus tickets from Mount Emei scenic area to Leidongping (golden summit) is announced as follows.1. Effective date: from Mar 10, 2026.2. Reservation method: Book tickets and select a boarding time slot through the official WeChat account "Mount Emei scenic area," the mini-program "Mount Emei tourism official platform," or authorized platforms like Trip.com with real-name registration. Each passenger can only reserve one time slot on the same date.3. Time slot division: The reserved time slots are divided by natural hours, with limited availability for each slot. Once sold out, no more will be available.4. Pre-check implementation: Arrive at the boarding point during your reserved time slot and present the valid ID (ID card, passport, etc.) used for reservation. Entry to the boarding area is permitted only when the person, ID, and ticket information match. Failure to complete pre-check or board within the designated time will be considered as automatic cancellation, requiring a new reservation.5. Changes permitted: Travelers who miss their pre-check or boarding time can change to later available time slots. If no slots are available, they can check in and board after 14:00 on the same day.6.
