About This Attraction
The Baidicheng Scenic Area is located on the Baidi Mountain in the western opening of the Qutang Gorge, Fengjie County. Baidicheng, formerly known as Ziyangcheng, is picturesque and full of ancient relics. Now, it has become an unmissable attraction along Yangtze River's Three Gorges region. There is a Baidi Temple built in the city, which is dedicated to Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. The Mingliang Chamber, Wu Hou Shrine, and Stargazing Gazebo in the temple were all built in the Ming and the Qing dynasties.
