About This Attraction

Aba Gemo Temple is located next to Ajiu Road, Tangmai Village, Gemo Township, northwest of Aba County, Sichuan Province. It is also known as Huiyuan Temple. It is one of the three major Gelug monasteries in Aba Prefecture. One of the temples. Gemo Temple was built in the 56th year of Qianlong (1790). Formerly known as Faxiang Temple, it dates back more than 200 years. The Gemo Temple is built on a large grass dam with exquisite and luxurious buildings. Next to the Gemo Temple is the Gemo Temple Xiantian and Esoteric Seminary.
