Yak Meadow Cableway

About This Attraction

There are three cableways in Yulong Snow Mountain, leading to Glacier Park, Yunshanping and Yaoniuping respectively. The scenery of the three places has its own characteristics. Yaoniuping is dominated by alpine meadows. The scenery here is not as rich as the other two places, but there are relatively few people. It is a good place to appreciate the meadows and quietly photograph the snow-capped mountains.To get to Yakniuping, you take the middle cableway, which takes you directly to the scenic spot. Yakniuping is called "Banlongguo" in Naxi language, which means "beautiful and mysterious paradise". It is indeed very beautiful. In summer, the meadow is full of flowers and yaks graze and walk in groups. In winter, it is very vast and covered with silver. It is 3,600 meters above sea level, and the towering Yulong Thirteen Peaks stand in front of you, where you can take blockbuster photos. In addition, you can rent ethnic costumes here and ride on yaks to take photos with the snow-capped mountains.
